1) Who can use the Service

4) Your content

• You retain ownership of content you submit (“User Content”).
• You grant us a limited license to host, store, reproduce, and display your User Content solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
• You represent you have the rights necessary to submit your User Content.

5) AI features

The Service may include AI-powered features that generate outputs based on information you provide. Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and are provided for informational and study-assistance purposes only. You are responsible for how you use any outputs, including verifying accuracy before relying on them.

You agree not to use the Service in a way that violates our Acceptable Use rules, including generating or sharing unlawful or harmful content.

6) Paid plans, billing, and Stripe

Some features may require payment. If you purchase a subscription or paid plan:

• Payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details.
• Subscriptions may renew automatically until canceled before the renewal date.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise.
• We may change prices or plan features from time to time, and we’ll provide notice where required.

7) Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by My Study Buddy or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service.

8) Third-party services

The Service may integrate with third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms and policies.

9) Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Study Buddy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

11) Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or for security reasons. Where appropriate, we may provide notice.

12) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll update the effective date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice for material changes.
